Higher Learning
Higher Learning is a drama movie that examines the personal, political, and racial dilemmas facing a group of college freshmen as they begin their first semester at Columbus University. It was released in 1995. Malik(Omar Epps) is a student who goes under a lot of stress because he tries to make all good grades in his class to keep his scholarship. He is interrupted by that by parties and a group of racist men who battle with him throughout the movie. Malik thought about dropping out of college because of stress. Remy(Michael Rapaport) on the other hand dealt with stress another way. He was a smart student but was influenced by other students to become racist. He knew that was not how he was raised so he committed suicide in the end because his life was being brought down because of stress.

I have experienced a lot of stress since I've come to York Tech. I have'nt been in a classroom in 35 years, and it is a challenge. I knew it was going to be hard, but not this hard. But I an going to keep the faith, and try not to get too stressed out.
